to capitalize on some of the projects to be placed out." said Wong
Tze Leng, Chief Executive Officer Of Unified Communications.
Under the contract with regional service provider, Vocom International
Telecommunications, Unified will build a network between the United States,
North and South East Asia, allowing Vocom to provide wholesale communication
services to local telcos and service providers in a profit sharing agreement.
"Within 3 months of its’ launching, the traffic minutes route
through Vocom’s network has been steadily rising from 2 million
traffic minutes per month to between 7 to 8 million traffic minutes per
month."
"We are confident the network traffic will expand to further support
a minimum average of 20 million traffic minutes per month by June next
year" added Wong in a statement.
"Unified Communications has the relevant expertise to assist us in
building our network to meet the capacity of demand we expect in the near
future. Their UniLink system has an excellent track record and we enjoy
good technical support from them." said Victor Hwang, Chief Executive

Capping this impressive performance is a marked 4-fold increase in profitability
for Unified who is certain to ink more than RM20 million into its books
by December 2001.
Impressively increasing its year on year revenue, Unified has attracted
imminent suitors leading to its ongoing sale to main board listed heavy
weight Advanced Synergy Berhad.
With a healthy growth in turnover, Unified’s Malaysian operations
are poised to further add to its coffers by taking advantage of the various
corporate tax exemptions offered to it as an MSC status company.
Furthermore, Unified is actively looking into the development of custom

for governments, telcos and business enterprises namely, multinational
companies and financial institutions with a product range that include,
