The TOWERLine Series RCT counterflow design cooling tower offers an
effective approach to rejecting the heat in the cooling water, be
it from a plastic generator or a chilled water air conditioning system.
The hot cooling water returned from the heat source is sprinkled through
the rotating sprinkler pipes over the top of the PVC infills and allowed
to trickle down along the infills surface where heat-transfer takes
place. |

As the hot water is flowing down the infills,
air is induced from outside the cooling tower through inlet louver
to evaporate a portion of the hot water on the infills, effectively
rejecting the heat from the system through the latent heat of vaporization.
The fan is a propeller design hence minimizing the consumption of
energy. |

Water loss in a cooling tower is inevitable
due mainly to loss in vaporization of water in order that heat is
effectively rejected. The TOWERLine Series RCT cooling tower is
equipped with a drift eliminator on the sprinkler pipes to trap
as much as possible of the water drift that is carried over with
the air discharge hence minimizing the water consumption. |

The rotating parts of the counterflow round type cooling towers are
manufactured in high precision standards for trouble-free operation
and long service life. The fans are all pre-balanced for vibration-free
operation, whilst the rotating sprinkler heads are precision cast
and machined. |

TOWERLine Series RCT cooling towers are basically made from FRP hence
offering high durability as it is not subject to corrosion like in
metals. |

The TOWERLine Series RCT cooling tower design uses many industry standard
components such as motor, gear drive, rotating sprinkler pipes, etc
hence making replacement of parts readily available. |
