Established in 1986, Nihon Spindle (M) Sdn. Bhd. "NS" is the marketing, sales and distribution arm for the JCI accredited Nihon Spindle brand of cooling towers.

A leading brand in Japan, Nihon Spindle is manufactured under a Technical Collaboration Agreement whereby the Linear Group is granted exclusive rights to manufacture, distribute and use the trademark of Nihon Spindle.

The only licensed manufacturer for this high quality low noise cooling towers outside of Japan, we have developed Nihon Spindle to be a leading brand in the South East Asian Region.






The Nihon Spindle range of cooling towers is manufactured to JIS B8609 standards and certified by the Japan Cooling Tower Institute. JCI certified cooling towers offer the advantages of a rationalized industry standard where motor kW, noise levels and space requirements are kept to a minimum.




The CTA range of cooling towers available in three series options meets most design criteria in terms of economy, ambient noise levels and space saving. The standard option is the low noise series meeting most environmental permissible noise standards whilst the extra low noise design is ideally suited to installations with close proximity to conference halls, hotel rooms and presidential suits. The space saving option satisfies most installations burdened by space constraints.

NIHON SPINDLE CTA range of cooling towers is available in one standard material of construction and three options. Wetted Parts refers to only the metal parts which are in normal contact with the circulating water.

This option carries only a small premium over the Standard Construction in HDG steel. Other options available are the Stainless Steel construction and FRP construction.

The modular multi-cell design offers the advantage of lower noise and lower energy consumption due to the smaller diameter fans employed. Nihon Spindle's variable pitch profile axial fan blades further saves energy due to its high efficiency design. Our multi-cell design also permits shutting down of fan/fans during partial load conditions for free cooling and energy saving.

Sloping cold water basin and depressed sump provide complete self-draining during periodic wash-down.	Internal piping option of innovative design provides easy piping hook-up and minimum pressure drop.		UK Series fan of the axial flow type in FRP construction.

NIHON SPINDLE CTA range of cooling towers incorporates sloping basin and outlet sump with filtration facility. This enables the cooling tower to be easily connected to a side-stream filtration system where a portion of the cooling water is continuously drawn out to filter away the solids deriving from air-borne and water-borne particles. The separation of the solids from the cooling water system reduces the fouling of condenser tubes and alleviates the risk of a Legionnaires disease outbreak. In certain areas, solids-liquid separator is extremely useful where the cooling tower installation is periodically subject to sands storm.
